Little Logs
A private baby tracker designed for fast one-handed logging, useful history, and dependable local storage.

Overview
Caregivers need to record feedings, sleep, diapers, and related events without navigating a complicated interface. Little Logs prioritizes short interaction paths and keeps the primary record on the device.
My contribution
I built the Expo application, local data layer, interaction patterns, subscription experience, release assets, QA process, and App Store submissions.
Technical architecture
React Native screens write structured events into SQLite. Derived history and summaries are calculated from the local record rather than requiring a remote account for basic operation.
- Local-first persistence with typed data access.
- Reusable logging flows optimized for repeat use.
- Subscription and entitlement handling for paid functionality.
- Release evidence and device QA maintained alongside the application.
Engineering highlights
- Balanced fast logging with enough structure for meaningful history.
- Designed for interrupted, one-handed use on mobile devices.
- Managed TestFlight, App Store review, privacy declarations, and post-release updates.
Functional status
Production / live. Little Logs is published on the US App Store. Version 1.2.1 was publicly available when this case study was verified.
