Cleanup
A native utility that identifies storage-heavy files and makes cleanup reviewable before anything is removed.

Overview
Storage tools can create more risk than they remove. Cleanup focuses on large-file discovery, clear selection, and an explicit confirmation step so users stay in control.
My contribution
I built the native SwiftUI interface, scanning and selection architecture, safety boundaries, tests, release assets, and Mac App Store submission.
Technical architecture
A filesystem scanner enumerates permitted locations and reports file metadata to the SwiftUI presentation layer. Selection state remains separate from deletion so discovery never silently becomes a destructive action.
- Permission-aware scanning and metadata collection.
- Large-result presentation with deliberate selection.
- Review and confirmation before trash operations.
- Native test coverage for scanning and cleanup behavior.
Engineering highlights
- Designed destructive operations around explicit user intent.
- Kept the scanning layer independent from SwiftUI views for testing.
- Handled native packaging, product metadata, and App Store releases.
Functional status
Production / live. Cleanup is available in the Mac App Store. Version 1.2.1 was publicly available when this page was verified.
